Description:
Here is page eight of a 17-page version of the Pennsylvania Railroad's 13-page booklet entitled "Altoona Shops Inspection Trip ~ Sunday, May 16, 1937." It appeared in the September 1981 issue of "The Keystone" magazine, page 11. Revised Caption: "The various displays at Altoona on May 16 [1937] included the latest in freight equipment. N-5 No. 477224 had, as did each piece of equipment, a plaque identifying the class and giving a description. The PRR went all out to be a gracious and informative host." PRR N-5 cabin car #477224 was built in the Altoona Car Shops.
